Linda Smith (1958 – 2006) began her professional life as a comedian in Sheffield. She was an original member of London’s Comedy Store, a regular panel member on Radio 4’s The News Quiz and Just A Minute and established her career on TV with acclaimed performances on Have I Got News for You, QI and Room 101 before her untimely death.

I Think the Nurses are Stealing My Clothes - The Very Best of Linda Smith, is a hardback anthology of Linda’s stage, radio and TV work over twenty years compiled and edited by Linda’s partner Warren Lakin and close friend Ian Parsons. It features her stand up routines and monologues, photographs and contains contributions from Steve Bell, Martin Rowson, Phill Jupitus, Jo Brand, Jeremy Hardy, Andy Hamilton, Hattie Hayridge and more.
